The 99th annual meeting of shareholders of The Colonial Motor Company Limited was held in Wellington today, 3 November 2017.
Jim Gibbons, Chairman of the board of directors, addressed the meeting on the performance of the company and its subsidiaries during the year to 30 June 2017 and subsequently. The text of the speech is attached.
The following resolutions were passed.
1. To re-elect Stuart Barnes Gibbons as a director of the company.
2. To re-elect Denis Michael Wood as a director of the company
3. To record the on-going appointment of Grant Thornton as auditor of the company and to authorise the directors to fix the auditor’s remuneration.
